On April 22nd I flew over to London for the launch of Frank Turner and his band The Sleeping Souls 5th studio album Tape Deck Heart. As always, I brought my camera bag along to see what I could get.
The album went to #2 in the UK charts and #52 in the US (even with the #burstthebuble twitter campaign we couldn’t quite catch the bastard). Chart ratings like that are huge for Frank after all his years of work, and his success has been massively celebrated by Xtra Mile Recordings and all the folks who have followed him for all this time.
It was a hell of week with not much sleep had by anyone but some highlights were being part of the Google Hang Out panel to discuss the album, radio session for Zane Lowe and two sold out shows not mention experiencing Larry and His Flask for the first time (blog coming).
Hope you like the selection of photos I have chosen, if you feel the need to use one for tumblr etc. I just ask that you credit and link back!
